Types
Cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks are just amongst the different types of forklift trucks manufactured by Clark. The different kinds differ in terms of the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction run on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be utilized in warehouses and other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies based on the kind. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are recommended. They could lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
